About GeoQuote
What is GeoQuote.ai?
GeoQuote.ai gives roofing contractors and solar installers a hosted quote link homeowners can use from business profile, Facebook, text messages, QR codes, email, or a website. It uses available aerial or satellite-derived property context to create a preliminary ballpark estimate and can add consent-based follow-up when selected and configured.
How does GeoQuote work?
GeoQuote works in 3 steps: (1) share your branded quote page anywhere homeowners already find you, (2) the homeowner enters the property address and may see a contractor-set ballpark range when property data is available, and (3) your team receives the contact and job details and decides what to inspect next. Final measurements, condition, scope, and price are confirmed after inspection.
Who is GeoQuote designed for?
GeoQuote is designed for roofing contractors and solar installers. It gives the business one branded quote page, shows available roof or solar property context, can display a contractor-set ballpark range, and collects the homeowner's contact and job details. The request also shows whether the homeowner entered the code sent to the phone number they submitted.
Is GeoQuote a shared-lead marketplace?
No. A request sent through a contractor's GeoQuote page goes to that contractor's account; GeoQuote does not resell it to competing contractors. A homeowner can still contact another business independently.
What makes GeoQuote different from other quoting tools?
GeoQuote starts with a hosted quote page, so a contractor can share one link without installing a website widget first. Measurement tools such as EagleView and RoofSnap handle later roof-measurement work, while CRM platforms such as AccuLynx and JobNimbus manage later sales and operations. GeoQuote focuses on collecting the initial address and job details.
Pricing & Plans
How much does GeoQuote cost?
GeoQuote has three monthly plans: Starter at $119/month for up to 100 quote requests, Launch at $299/month with no monthly request cap under the published acceptable-use terms, and AI Follow-Up at $599/month for Launch plus optional consent-based calls and texts when set up. Build and review your branded quote page first, then choose a paid plan when you are ready to publish it and take homeowner requests.
Does GeoQuote charge per quote request?
GeoQuote uses monthly subscription pricing and does not add a GeoQuote fee for each submitted request or report. Starter supports up to 100 quote requests per month. Launch and AI Follow-Up have no monthly request cap under the published acceptable-use terms. Advertising, staff time, messaging, and any optional third-party reports remain separate costs.
Is there a contract or commitment?
Starter, Launch, and AI Follow-Up are monthly plans. Creating an account and reviewing the private branded-page preview does not charge you. Publishing it for homeowners requires a paid plan. Confirm cancellation, currency, promotional, annual, or custom terms in the current checkout or a written offer. GeoQuote does not currently promise automatic GST/HST calculation.
Can I change my plan later?
Starter, Launch, and AI Follow-Up cover different request limits and follow-up configurations. Confirm the available plan-change path and current billing terms in your account or with GeoQuote support before changing a live setup.
GeoQuote vs Competitors
How does GeoQuote compare to Angi (HomeAdvisor) for contractors?
GeoQuote gives a contractor one branded quote page for a business profile, Facebook, text messages, QR codes, email, ads, referrals, and a website. Angi's lead distribution, fees, and contractor terms can change, so verify its current official terms directly. A request sent through the contractor's GeoQuote page goes to that contractor's account, but the homeowner can still contact another business.
How does GeoQuote compare to Thumbtack?
GeoQuote captures requests through a contractor-branded link and can provide satellite-based ballpark context plus optional consent-based follow-up. Thumbtack's pricing, distribution, and contractor terms can change; verify its current official documentation before comparing acquisition costs or request handling.
How does GeoQuote compare to RoofSnap or EagleView?
RoofSnap and EagleView offer measurement-focused workflows. GeoQuote comes earlier: the homeowner starts with an address, may see a contractor-set ballpark range when data is available, and sends contact and job details. The request shows whether the homeowner entered the texted code, but your team still decides whether to call, inspect, and order a separate measurement report.
How does GeoQuote compare to AccuLynx or JobNimbus?
AccuLynx and JobNimbus offer CRM or project-management workflows. GeoQuote focuses on the first request: a shareable quote page, the submitted address and job details, available property context, and a record of whether the homeowner entered the texted code. Confirm each vendor's current capabilities and test how the request moves between products before relying on them together.
Is GeoQuote better than a basic form on my website?
That depends on the contractor's traffic and workflow. GeoQuote works as a standalone quote page and can also be embedded when the website and plan support it. Compare visits, completed requests, actual contacts, appointments, and sold jobs with the existing form instead of assuming an increase.
Satellite Measurement & Accuracy
How accurate are GeoQuote's satellite estimates?
GeoQuote uses aerial or satellite-derived property data where available. Result quality varies by imagery, roof visibility, complexity, assumptions, and local data availability. GeoQuote estimates are preliminary ballpark context, not final bids. Contractors must verify measurements, conditions, scope, and pricing before issuing a binding quote.
Does GeoQuote work for all property types?
GeoQuote supports residential properties in the US and Canada where suitable property data is available. It is currently focused on roofing and solar use cases. Coverage and result quality vary by address, imagery, roof visibility, geometry, and available data; the contractor still decides whether the project fits and what must be inspected.
Can I get instant roofing estimates using satellite imagery?
Where suitable property data is available, GeoQuote can use aerial or satellite-derived context to produce a preliminary ballpark roofing estimate. Coverage and results vary by address, imagery, geometry, and assumptions. The estimate is not a binding quote and does not replace the contractor's site inspection or final measurement.
What measurements does GeoQuote provide?
GeoQuote can show available roof area, geometry, usable-section, or solar-related property context, depending on the address and data source. Treat the result as preliminary ballpark context; the contractor must verify measurements, scope, conditions, and price before issuing a binding quote.
Setup & Integration
How do I add GeoQuote to my website?
You do not need a website to start. GeoQuote gives you a hosted quote link first. If you want to add it to your website later, copy a single line of embed code from your GeoQuote dashboard or ask us to help.
Is GeoQuote compatible with WordPress?
The hosted quote link does not require WordPress. An embed may be available for a WordPress site, but theme, plugin, security, and content-policy settings vary; configure and test the embed on the actual site before publishing it.
Is GeoQuote compatible with Wix, Squarespace, and Shopify?
The hosted quote link can be shared without installing it on Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, Webflow, GoDaddy, or another site. Embed support depends on the platform, plan, theme, and security settings, so confirm the current supported path and test it before rollout.
Can I customize the GeoQuote widget with my branding?
Yes. Your hosted quote page and optional website widget can use your company name, logo, colors, and pricing assumptions so the homeowner sees your brand first. The homeowner submits an address, and your team decides whether it is inside your service area; the hosted quote flow does not enforce service-area boundaries.
Does GeoQuote integrate with my CRM?
Hosted quote-link requests stay in the simple request board and can trigger contractor email when configured. Website-widget submissions can use configured CRM connectors or webhooks. Compatibility depends on the destination and setup, so test sample records before relying on a handoff; GeoQuote does not replace a full CRM.
AI Follow-Up & Next Steps
How does AI-assisted follow-up work?
With the AI Follow-Up plan, GeoQuote can call or text after a homeowner submits a request and gives the required consent, when the feature is set up and available. It can offer the next step chosen by the contractor, but the homeowner may not answer and an appointment is not guaranteed.
Does the AI call my leads automatically?
Calls and texts are available only on the AI Follow-Up plan after the contractor sets up the feature and the homeowner gives the required consent. Calling hours, do-not-contact controls, and provider availability still apply. A call or text may fail or go unanswered, and an appointment is not guaranteed.
Can I turn off AI calling and just get the leads?
Yes. AI Follow-Up is optional. Starter or Launch can provide the hosted quote link and submitted request records without AI calls. Your team remains responsible for monitoring requests and operating its manual follow-up workflow.
Lead Management & Results
How many more leads will I get with GeoQuote?
There is no defensible fixed number. Results depend on traffic, service area, offer, page setup, contractor response, and sales execution. Measure a baseline and then track completed requests, actual contacts, confirmed appointments, sold jobs, collected revenue, and total cost. GeoQuote does not supply traffic or guarantee requests, appointments, or customers.
What information do I get about each lead?
For a completed request, GeoQuote can record the submitted name, phone, email, property address, available roof or solar context, ballpark range, consent, and whether the homeowner entered the code sent to the submitted phone number. Your team still confirms who the homeowner is, whether the project fits, and how to follow up.
Can I export my leads?
GeoQuote supports CSV export for request records and PDF export for individual estimate context. Confirm the destination format and test the import before relying on a CRM handoff. GeoQuote is not operated as a marketplace that resells a submitted request to competing contractors.
Does GeoQuote work for solar estimates?
GeoQuote supports solar installers with available roof context and a preliminary estimate flow. Coverage, usable-area assumptions, production, price, and savings vary by property and configuration and require professional validation before a proposal.
Security & Compliance
Is GeoQuote GDPR and PIPEDA compliant?
GeoQuote includes consent capture and request-record controls intended to support privacy workflows. Those product controls do not by themselves certify a contractor's GDPR, PIPEDA, or other legal compliance; obligations depend on jurisdiction, configuration, use, contracts, and operating practices. Review the current privacy terms and obtain legal advice for your situation.
Does GeoQuote sell my leads to other contractors?
GeoQuote is not operated as a marketplace that resells a submitted request to competing contractors. A request is routed to the contractor account configured for that quote link. This does not prevent the homeowner from contacting another business independently; review the current privacy policy and service terms for data-handling details.
