Referral program terms
Approval-gated commission terms
These terms summarize how GeoQuote referral tracking, qualification, commission review, and payout status work. They are operational terms for the partner enrollment flow and may be updated as the program matures.
Eligibility
A partner account must be reviewed and approved by GeoQuote before commissions become eligible. GeoQuote may reject, suspend, or revoke a partner account for spam, misleading claims, self-referrals, policy violations, or poor-fit introductions.
Qualified Referral
A qualified referral is a new customer who can be attributed to the partner referral ID, completes a GeoQuote purchase, and is accepted by GeoQuote as a legitimate net-new customer. Existing customers, internal tests, duplicate accounts, and unpaid trials are not qualified referrals.
Commission
The standard referral commission is 15% of eligible paid GeoQuote customer revenue attributed to the partner. Commission calculations are shown in the partner portal, but each payout remains subject to manual review and approval.
Payout Review
Invoice-paid Stripe events and admin-qualified conversions are recorded as pending review. GeoQuote must approve a commission before it becomes payable and must mark it paid after the actual payout is completed.
Refunds And Reversals
Refunded, disputed, cancelled, fraudulent, or reversed customer payments may void unpaid commissions. If a commission has already been paid, GeoQuote may mark it as clawed back and offset it against future approved payouts.
Partner Conduct
Partners must avoid spam, deceptive advertising, unsupported earnings claims, fake urgency, impersonation, or any representation that suggests GeoQuote has guaranteed a customer result. Partners are responsible for following applicable advertising, email, privacy, and referral laws.
