How do instant quote widgets check phone details?
When an OTP step is enabled, the system sends a code to the submitted phone and records whether the correct code was returned. That status does not prove the person's identity, project quality, purchase intent, consent for every contact method, or future reachability. Keep those facts distinct in the request record.
